The Masjid

One of the UK’s largest purpose built mosques, with a congregational capacity of 5,000, located in the heart of Birmingham, providing a wide range essential services and facilities to the Muslim community.

Community & Youth Work

Delivered from two centres, incorporating an indoor soft play area for 50 children and a fully equipped recreation centre, with PlayStation 5 facilities. The focus is to broaden the services for women, children and young people in a safe and welcoming environment.

Ghamkol Sharif Education Centre

The Madrassah

The educational opportunities from the Ghamkol Sharif Madrasah is delivered from two buildings, thereby allowing for separate provision for men and women. The centres are modern, and well resourced, providing a total of 12 classrooms, meeting and communal areas and kitchen facilities. The Madrasah can accommodate conferences or lectures for up to 250 delegates, with break out rooms.

Library

Our reference only library, is located on the Ground Floor of the Mosque, with over 2,000 titles in Arabic, English & Urdu, which are available to the public to read and study on-site. We are constantly adding new titles based on the suggestions of our readers and the support of your donations.
